Mundus Impossible Universe’s gameplay is very similar to other match 3 puzzle games. In each level, you’ll have a limited number of moves to eliminate a certain number of a kind of gem. Run out of moves, and your game ends, but if you manage to end the level with extra moves you’ll get a points multiplier for every extra move! That being said, some levels have special goals on top of getting a certain number of gems.

Not only that, but you’ll get a star for each level you beat, and you can use stars to build all kinds of things in the worlds you’ve unlocked. Build everything caves to canoes, plant groves of trees, and much more! Once you’ve built a world and filled it with dozens of different items, you can traverse the universe and search for a new one. There are fourteen worlds to explore in total, each one with at least a dozen levels.

Overall, Mundus Impossible Universe is a very entertaining puzzle game, with decent graphics. It also manages to add some novel gameplay to the genre: while in some levels the gems are in square cells, others have hexagonal cells, which changes which gems you can swap. And, like many match 3 games, Mundus Impossible Universe has rockets, bombs, and many more power-ups you can use to destroy loads of gems at once!
